The United States supreme court has at least three justices that consider the United States Constitution to be outdated and irrelevent . Well, the other side of this terror tactic by the white house is that any retired person who is currently “covered” by medicare currently PAYS monthly for this coverage. It is taken out of one’s monthly check. In my case, I pay $99.96 per month, plus $46.00 monthly for a drug card. That’s a total of $145.96 per month. If they do trash medicare, I would still have the benefit of the $145.96 as “money in my bank account”, to pay for my own medical needs. I’m 80 years old and in fairly good health (thank God!) so it would probably be to my benefit if they did do away with medicare. Maybe then the doctors would be able to treat us older folks and charge us a reasonable fee for their service. Maybe then most doctors would not be hesitant to treat us “oldies”. Just a thought……..
