At a press conference with the prime minister of Japan this afternoon, President Obama said that Americans haven’t excessively celebrated the death of Osama bin Laden, and suggested that Mitt Romney would not have made the decision to kill the terrorist mastermind.
“I’d just recommend that everybody take a look at people’s previous statements in terms of whether they thought it was appropriate to go into Pakistan and to take out bin Laden,” Obama said, obviously taking a shot at Romney. “I assume that people meant what they said when they said it. And that’s been at least my practice. I said that I would go after bin Laden if we had a clear shot at him–and I did. If there are others who have said one thing and now suggest they would do something else, then I’d go ahead and let them explain it.”
The president was visibly smirking as he made today’s statement. It also mirrors a campaign ad the president released Friday, which likewise suggests that Romney wouldn’t have killed bin Laden if he, as commander in chief, would have been in the same position.

HOW CAN YOU SHUT UP THIS “COWARD-IN-CHIEF?” DOES HE REALLY THINK HE GOT BIN LADEN? ANYONE IN THAT ROOM WOULD HAVE GIVEN THE ORDER TO KILL, GIVEN THE SAME OPPORTUNITY. WHO DOES OBAMA THINK SET THIS WHOLE THING UP? SURELY NOT HIS ADMINISTRATION—THEY’RE ALL FOR PEACE AND EQUALITY. Obama is going to milk the killing of Osama bin Laden for ALL he can. It is too bad that he doesn’t give credit where credit is due, to the brave folk who ACTUALLY went after Osama, it is for sure that Mr. Obama would NEVER have gone on such a mission!! He’s too chicken!!

The killing of Bin Laden was carefully timed to assist Obama in his poll numbers, which were slumping. The event itself was straight out of a TV drama, with the White House watching the whole thing on TV. Obama was killed, the seals made a clean getaway with not only Obama’s body but his 18 year old son who hasn’t been seen our heard from since. A real thriller, and since Bin Laden was killed on the spot, the deamatic moment wasn’t spoiled by a lenghty, controversial, interest-killing trial.
No one could have scripted the storyline better. Goof job, Seals!!! And Obama propaganda team.
Hiow could anyone think the Oama Campaign wouldn’t repaly it this election season? It’s a crowdpleaser, and claiming Romney—Obama’s opponent–wouldn’t have done it is a sly, if very dirty, tirck.
Folks, we are talking about an operator here who’s an admirer and student of Vladimir Lenin, who, with 122 henchmen took over Russia in 1917, which spans 7 time zones. The american people have proved Obama was right as a kid when he surmised that you can fool “white people” with a big smile and politeness.
Romney now can use Obama’s quote about “I assume they meant what they said” and bring up Obama’s past words against him. An example would be his promise that the price of electricity will naturally have to sky rocket under his plan.
This is one of the most egotistical Presidents we have had. He hasn’t gone through much of a struggle like many of us have in our lives and it shows in his demeanor.
interesting how obama can say what anyone would have done. now he would like us to believe hes a mind reader. obama will play this song over and over because he has no record to stand on. he has achieved nothing for America. his is a failed presidency.
