A nice enough lady but beware the ones that want to take our money. The whole point of a nanny state is the belief that the state knows better what to do with our money; which is really a restriction of our freedom.

Mark was so right. She couldn’t deal with the truth of what she, and her cohorts, are all about. The university mindset that they know better what is good for the rest of us came shining through. Just like her “messiah”, the “O”, she is above the rest of us and so much smarter.
A phrase comes to mind. “Those who can, do. Those who can’t, teach”. In her case, and so many others like her, she lives in a theoretical world surrounded by folks who agree with her. If she really had to work for a living, she’d starve to death, or be on welfare.
Couldn’t give Mark a straight answer, except that the government should be trusted to handle the funds. They did so well with Social Security funds. Pieces of paper not worth the paper they are written on. Just another source for the largesse granted to the welfare folks granted by the politicians at the expense of the workers(taxpayers).
They gotta do something to keep their power and buying the votes via taxpayer money is a way to do just that.
Trust no one in government, they are all idiots at best, or crooks at the worst.
