Here’s the President, all bedecked in major league paraphernalia, Chicago ball cap and all. He strolled out to the spot marked for him a few feet before the pitching mound, and a guy with an outfielder’s glove crouched before home plate. I guess Obama thought he could reach the plate, but he threw that ball which arced off to the left and was what we used to call a “blooper,” a throw which must have been 10′ off the ground and about 6′ off to the left. It’s no wonder the guy poised to field the “pitch” wore an outfielder’s glove. Obama threw a short “Pop-up!” He didn’t reach the shortened route to the plate either. So much for his fabled athleticism!
I saw George Bush burn one in to a bona-fide big-league catcher for a perfect strike, regulation distance to plate. Bush could throw like a guy who knew how, Rush is right…Obama threw like a ten yr. old girl.
But, he’s a poser, he likes to pose with the basketball. If he plays that game as well as he plays baseball, he better stick to golf lessons.
Most American boys take to baseball like ducks to water, Obama was never an American boy. Rush knew it right off, he was connected to the Kansas City Royals at one time. He’s knows the game.
