Because Jack Welch retired some years back and Jeff Immelt, who’s on Obama’s JOBS council, is running GE, sending JOBS to China from Waukesha, Wisc. Xray Lab, spending millions to expand and hire in China after accepting MILLIONS in stimulus dollars for GE at a time when the company posted $6 BILLION profits and paid ZERO INCOME TAXES.
Also, in another debate, Senator Jim DeMint asked Romney what he would specifically cut. His only response was the National Endowment of the Arts. Their budget: $154 million. So out of $4.5 trillion in spending, all Romney could come up with was 0.003%! Wow, he really is serious about cutting spending and balancing that budget!

Keep your ear to what Romney says. I can guarantee you it won’t only be the NEA that will be defunded. Besides, that matter will come out of Congress. A President should show leadership to Congress by initiating ideas to reduce frivolous spending. That hasn’t happened for almost four years. All Obama has done is spend and borrow.
Keep your slide rule handy, and by the way, since you’re a great mathematician, gives us the percentages of Obama’s presidential orders for spending/borrowing/owing against our GNP which can’t grow even 2% per year.

GM, who is supposed to have repaid its debt to the federal government (a lot of malarkey!), made like it was paying back, and reborrowed the same amount at 5% interest. They’re still “in hock,” can’t sell the battery car Obama wanted to advertise, that car is now being furnished to federal employees who use a car on federal business. GM has 2700 dealerships in China, while it closed out dealerships of long-standing here in the USA. Coincidentally, many were very successful dealers, profit makers, but the owners were Republican registered. GM has 220,000 workers at present, 160,000 of them are overseas. The federal gov’t has a 28% share ogf GM.
Romney won’t juggle things to make them appear positive, he will set up the environment for business creation, and that means jobs, lasting ones.
He won’t be talking up “shovel-ready jobs” that won’t last or never will even start.
Under Welch GE initiated competitive bidding for manufacturing jobs. Welch closed many facilities and moved the operations to Mexico, China and other countries offshore to take advantage of cheaper wages, transfer pricing, and tax breaks. I never understood the credence given to his views when he was steadily undermining and undercutting US job with his outsourcing obsession, but as the Bard of Baltimore stated succinctly, “No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.” Who really cares what Jack Welch has to say on this or any other matter?
I agree with Jack Welch….and EVERYTIME I hear Obama or Biden berate Romney on his lack of qualification to be President because “all he has done” is work with corporations…it makes me laugh……I suppose Obama’s work as a neighborhood “rablerouser” makes HIM qualified…or Joe’s only work in politics qualifies him…both of them together don’t even make a whole….just FAILURES….LOOK AT THEIR RECORDS!

He does not support our troops or the Constitution. He changes his positions on issues like I change my socks. He and his supporters cheat and lie every chance they get. I know because I watched them passing out fake slates at Colorado State Convention – I am an elected state delegate. He is under investigation for 2 felonies and more.
