(CNSNews.com) – “If I were the president of the United States, I would find a way for Eric Holder to step down, and it would be characterized as a firing,” Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) told Fox News on Thursday.
King suggested it would be better for President Obama to fire Attorney General Holder rather than let the “Fast and Furious” gun-running scandal blow up in Obama’s face right before the election:
“And as more of this unfolds – and I think there is substantially more – you remember that September 19 is kind of the date that bad things happen before elections,” King said.
“I don’t think that (Rep.) Darrell Issa is planning a date like that…but as this moves forward, and I’m the president of the United States, I’d be very worried that this comes to a crescendo sometime before September 19 of this year.
“For those reasons, if I were the president, I would remove Eric Holder from the target zone here – put somebody else in who’s determined to clean this up. I would dump all this information out in the public and just come clean and put it behind me,” King said. “That’s what any responsible public official would do.”

Holder should have never been put in such a position of power to begin with. The United States of America White House is full of nothing but gangster style thugs thanks to Obama.
Mr. King raises an interesting possibility – but NOT having Obama fire Holder! If the details of this incident come to light during the ongoing investigation, and they just happen to surface just before the election, an “October Surprise” might be the key to unseating Obama. I say, let it ride – even Democrats would be hard pressed to support Obama for not taking responsibility for the incident AND not dumping Holder, and the closer to the November election this info comes out, the better for this country. If Republicans turn out en-mass and a large number of Democrats, disgusted by Obama’s misconduct in this and other matters, cross the line and vote Republican, so much the better. Everyone KNOWS the whole thing was an attempt to create a reason for more firearms restrictions, and everyone at least THINKS the buck didn’t stop on Holder’s desk. If that becomes an issue immediately before the election, the public won’t have time to forget… and Team Obama will LOSE!
The American people are outraged that Eric Holder hasn’t been Impeached or fired for this Fast and Furious scandal and he is still trying to keep the governors and senators in several states from enforcing Illegal Immigration. He is nothing in the American peoples eyes and there is a poll on whether Eric Holder should be fired and 98% of the American people said (Yes). For the life of me I can’t understand why this evil mongrol hasn’t been thrown out of the WH with major fines and thrown in jail, just like the rest of the evil people in the WH that needs to be fired. Why has Holder not been fired? Please someone tell the American people why this evil person hasn’t been fired. He is trying everything in his power to bankrupt our country just like Obama and the rest of the evil ones in the WH. We have got to get these evil people out of the WH immediately. Why Obama hasn’t been Impeached is way beyond belief. The Fraud, Treason, Lies, Going Against the Constitution, going over Congress head and hiring people in the WH to do nothing just like the rest of the evil ones are doing. None of them have done one thing to help the American people. We are no better off now than when Obama took the presidency. He only has one thing on his mind and that is to bankrupt America. That is his very intention and bringing his evil Muslim people to take over America.

Step down? Really, if I were in a position to do so, I would just plain “clean his clock” and “knock” him down! But then, holder and obama-soetoro are, both, cut from the same “black cloth” and “both” need to be “knocked down AND out”!
I would fire the whole bunch.
Obama should have launched an investigation himself. It all seems a coverup to me and I really do not feel he wants the American people to know the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts especially if you are president.
Holder is doing just what Obama wants. To fire him would be admitting guilt to himself.

Should Holder be fired? Of course! Should obama be fired? Of course! But what could possibly motivate obama to fire Holder? History bears this out: to ANY thug-President, the ENTIRE PURPOSE of an “Attorney General” is to see to it that the President NEVER has to face the consequences of his own actions. If that’s the job description, then Holder is doing it just “fabulously”, so again, what could possibly motivate obama to let him go?
Holder needs to go. He also needs to face criminal prosecution. He is responsible for multiple dearhs. He is a crimibal.
